With a broken ‘Amount’ encoder the routing matrix was dead in the water.
This machine weighs a lot, it is incredibly heavy.
Access to the panel boards requires a serious amount of work to remove multiple layers of stacked voice boards and ancillary boards to be able to get to the ones holding the faders and pots.
A big thanks to Arturia for supplying a F.O.C. replacement encoder.
There are around 100 screws/PCB pillars which all need to be removed to do this work so careful notes of where things needed to be when reassembly took place were taken.
P.S. She looked very plain without the coloured knob caps.
