These are great units but not easy to work on as extremely compact inside. The front panel PCBs are stacked using spacers and edge connectors.
One of the smaller control boards is a real pain to get off as its held on with several soldered rigid wire support connections.
The plastic inside the switches is usually white, but in this case there was so much oxidation and copper corrosion the internals had tuned a blue colour.
The switches needed a serious overhaul / clean and taking them apart requires some patience and care so as not to break the plastic securing lugs.
Once all the work had been completed it was great to see the self test routine show OK and all LEDs working as they should.
