Mackie Control Universal Repair.
This Mackie Control Universal Repair was for a sticking automated fader.
The fader casing was full of thick dust clumps but there was also what looked like grit, or perhaps shells of nuts or suchlike. The control cord was wrapped around the spooler.
These faders are still pretty rugged though.
