Philips Philicorda 754 restoration:

The keybed bussbar had been completely destroyed.
Many key contact J wires had been completely bent/destroyed.
Missing key stop bushings.
Bent face plate.
Peeling trim felt.
One broken key.
One fader cap missing.

Works completed:

New bushings were made from suitable sized cable sleeving.
Bus bar was straightened as trying to use a replacement wire proved unsatisfactory.
New J wires were made from suitable wire.
Switches were cleaned.
Faders were cleaned.
Inside chassis was cleaned.
Keys were cleaned and regreased

Finding a replacement key and fader cap was something the client was happy to keep an eye out for as these are hard to find parts, but other than that she was eventually all good to go home fully working again.
