Description
ProSonic Echotile Phonic – Class A Acoustic Panel
These panels are not designed for impact resistance so are best placed either at higher wall levels or used on the ceilings. On walls the panels can be fitted vertically or horizontally, usually above door level out of touching reach.
The smallest 1200x600mm panels can also be suspended vertically, along the thin edge, as baffles, while all the panels can be installed horizontally as ceiling ‘rafts’ or ‘clouds’ using our wire fixing kits.
All panels are manufactured to dimensional tolerances of ± 3mm.
These panels can be emulsion spray painted on site to any colour with little significant effect on the acoustic performance. However, it is important that the paint is water based matt emulsion and only applied in a very light mist spray coat so that the acoustics are not significantly affected.

Installation
The panels can be fitted to walls with our spike fixings and optional adhesive.
For ceilings the panels can be suspended either vertically or horizontally using our fully adjustable wire suspension kits. For horizontal suspension the spiral hooks should be placed 200–300mm in from the panel edges.
We strongly recommend using white cotton gloves when handling and installing this product so the surface is not marked.
Panels up to 1200x1200mm require 4 suspension wires, anything larger will require 6 suspension wires.
For walls, panels up to 1200x1200mm require 2 spikes, anything larger will require 4 spikes.
