Description

Roland Juno60 Repair:

A Roland Juno60 repair. It is going to be a bit of a restoration as well as a repair.

Unused for many years, it most certainly need a decent clean inside and out.

On initial testing there is one voice that is not working so it will only play 5 notes not the full six note polyphony. It also sounds uneven as it rotates around the working voices.

Other issues are dirty key contacts, bouncing key contacts, some keys not making contact and others intermittent.

Most of the faders are very scratchy and stiff. One has a very bent shaft and one fader cap needs to be found.

The switch dust covers have disintegrated and the fader dust covers are filthy.

The volume control is noisy.

Its also got a fair bit of rust starting to form inside and outside the metalwork.

The top cover rubber closing stopper is rolling around inside in two parts.

The bender rubber end stops are missing.

On the plus side…the battery is still over 3V.
