Yamaha DX100 Repair
Yamaha DX100 Repair – No power and then intermittent keys.
These units are pretty much all plastic and can easily twist with use. This caused the key contact board supports to snap which meant the stability was no longer ideal.
A very awkward thing to try and resolve especially as the carbon strip and key contact pcb are an unusual design which doesn’t leave much room for the usual repair / cleaning methods.
