Acoustic Louvres

Acoustic Louvres are multi-purpose ventilation grilles designed to allow fresh air into mechanical spaces while blocking environmental noise from escaping. They provide a space-saving, low-depth alternative to inline rectangular silencers, making them ideal for power generator enclosures, air-conditioning plants, commercial ventilation systems, compressor rooms, and transformer stations.

  • Acoustic Louvre: A slatted ventilation grille with integrated sound-absorbing insulation inside each blade to damp noise.
  • Pressure Drop (Pa): The resistance created by the louvre blades against moving air, measured here as the volume of airflow (m³/h) achievable at a standard 50 Pascals of pressure.
