Roland SRV2000 Repair:

A Roland SRV2000 Repair.

Fault:

This was showing high noise levels on the input level LED display when nothing was connected.

Works Done:

It was in need of main power supply capacitors replacing as they were bulging in some cases.
Old capacitor adhesive carefully removed.
Repairs to corroded traces.
A faulty IC was replaced which resolved the input noise level.

There was a real mess of old capacitor adhesive which had started to corrode PCB traces. This all needed to be made good again and cleaned off. A lot of labour intensive and careful work.
