Yamaha EMX 5000 Repair
Yamaha EMX 5000 in for repair.
The pots and sockets are not securely mounted to the front chassis so there have been a number of breaks in the PCB tracks. The pads have been completely snapped at the joins.
There are also three non working channels with failed SMD components which required replacing.
Three gain pots are completely defective and the speakon connectors are worn on the internal cam latches.
