Acoustic Studio Window Frame, 45dB double metal with one side angled to reduce internal reflections.
Ideal for:
Acoustic Studio Window Frame rated to Rw 45dB with a minimum of 200mm separation gap.
If the gap is less then acoustic performance will be lower. If the gap is greater then the acoustic performance will generally be higher. Both are related to the acoustic rating of the wall in which it is fitted into.
Laminated glass is required but not supplied. The frames are designed to accept 5+5mm and 4+4mm. One side is angled to reduce internal room reflections.

Please Note: We can also supply window frames in timber which have been tested onsite to Dw 75 – 79dB. It should be considered, that the performance of an acoustic window is directly related to the acoustic performance of the partition into which it is installed. It is not possible to achieve this level of sound isolation if the partition is rated to a lower Dw
