Elka Rhapsody in for repair.
It was in for a full service and to find the fault with the tuning which wasn’t allowing her to tune correctly.
Beautiful keyboard to work on albeit with rather grainy service manual. The internal cable harnesses are a work of art.
Everything is easy to access.
The works ended up quite extensive. The power supply was completely rebuilt. The fuses, and holders, were all corroded so replaced. The faders were cleaned, the buss bar was cleaned, the IC sockets were changed for turned pin ones, the electrolytic capacitors were replaced on the main divider boards.
She sounds wonderful.
