Description

Speaker Isolation Pads

Speaker isolation pads, or monitor isolation pads, are a synthetic polymer based material generally designed to take differing maximum loads, depending on type used. A superior acoustic grade Sorbothane alternative.

These isolation pads are particularly useful for lighter loads such as very small machines, bass bins, sub woofers and speakers and drum risers.

They can be trimmed down in size to ‘tune’ for optimum weight loadings.

For example a Type11 cut in half will accept 5kg per section.

Supplied as 100x100x25mm individual vibration pads.

These speaker isolation pads can be used without adhesive with the speakers simply sat on them. However, in some applications, such as stage use or where speakers are being moved, it would be advisable to glue them to the bottom of the speaker. If they are being used as studio monitor isolation pads, generally they can just sit underneath.
