Acoustic stud wall braces provide an anti-vibration break between double partition wall leafs. Manufactured in two formats to suit different applications and installation techniques.
The EP600 version are straight and can be bent to suit whilst the EP650 have a pre-made angle.
They are ideally suited for stabilising walls exceeding 3.5m height. Acoustic stud wall braces should be installed at 1.5m height intervals.
Generally, for a wall of 4.5 meters, the EP mounts should be installed at 1.5m and 3m.
An Acoustic stud wall brace tie range designed for the floating suspension of soundproofed timber or metal stud walls and ceilings. Sylomer® avoids the transmission of vibrations while providing optimal acoustic results. They have a “FAIL SAFE” rugged metal structure, which is overload-proof.
Recommended for applications where fire or impact resistance is necessary. These mounts are also suitable for the isolation of vertical pipes, or any type of lightweight ducts that need to be isolated.
The tongues can be bent away or cut so as to accommodate a variety of depths with a maximum of around 160mm.
Far superior to the standard BG type GL brackets.
Particularly suited for timber or metal frame supports.
